 GCPL  – Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all participants registering for the Garden City Premier League (GCPL) 2025, organised by AGC Sports Club at Aditya Garden City. By registering, you agree to abide by these policies in full.

1. Eligibility

Participation is open exclusively to:

Flat owners residing in Aditya Garden City, or

Tenants with a valid and current rent agreement.

The GCPL Committee reserves the right to verify ownership or rental documents at any time during the tournament cycle, from the date of form submission until the conclusion of the final match.

Failure to provide valid documents upon request will result in cancellation of the participant’s registration without refund.
 

2. Document Verification and Integrity

Participants are required to provide truthful and accurate information in their registration forms.

Submission of forged or misleading documents, or providing false information, will lead to immediate disqualification.

The GCPL Committee reserves the right to take further action, including banning such participants from future editions of GCPL.
 

3. Behaviour and Discipline

All participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully, both on and off the field.

Any form of inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to abusive language, misconduct towards players, officials, or spectators, or deliberate violation of safety measures, may result in suspension or permanent disqualification from the tournament.

The GCPL Committee’s decision on disciplinary matters will be final and binding.
 

4. Registration and Entry Allocation

Registrations will be accepted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the maximum participant capacity is reached, subsequent registrations may be waitlisted.

Participants who submit more than one registration form and/or payment will have duplicate payments refunded. However, only one entry will be retained per eligible participant.

Registration is considered complete only after submission of the form and successful payment of the entry fee.
 

5. Refund Policy

Withdrawals: No refunds will be issued if a participant voluntarily withdraws after the tournament has started.

Unallocated entries: Participants who register but are not allocated a spot due to capacity limits will be eligible for a full refund, which will be processed after the conclusion of the tournament.

Duplicate payments: If a participant makes multiple payments for the same registration, excess payments will be refunded.

Refund timelines: All applicable refunds will be initiated and processed within a reasonable time frame after the tournament ends.
 

6. Tournament Rules and Code of Conduct

By registering, participants agree to comply with all GCPL rules, category-specific regulations, and safety protocols established by the AGC Sports Club.

Rules may include, but are not limited to, format of play, use of protective equipment, adherence to age categories, and participation in team allocation processes (such as auctions).

Umpires’ decisions during matches are final and must be respected. Any disputes shall be resolved by the GCPL Committee, whose decision will be binding.
 

7. Committee Rights

The GCPL Committee reserves the right to modify schedules, categories, or rules in the interest of safety, fairness, or unforeseen circumstances.

In the event of cancellation of the tournament by the organizers due to weather, legal, or safety concerns, refund policies will be communicated separately.

The Committee’s decisions regarding eligibility, disqualification, refunds, and disciplinary actions are final and cannot be challenged.
 

8. Acknowledgement

By submitting the registration form, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Participants also acknowledge that they will abide by the spirit of the tournament, prioritizing safety, sportsmanship, and community harmony at all times.
